Remember the years when we had artists talk about their newest release in our "New Releases Show" on the radio?

The good news is.... those precious listening moments are coming back!

We are starting up a podcast series called: "Christian Music Now". In each episode, we will feature a CCM / CEDM artist with their newest release. You not only hear the artist talk about their release, but you also get a nice preview of the track.

What makes this podcast special is that each episode offers you a peek into the lives of the artists you hear on the radio and the major music streaming services.

So, watch this space, follow our podcasts and maybe we can introduce you to some new artists as well.

"Hard Times" by Matt Rees: Finding Faithful Ground When Life Comes Apart

Hard times have a way of stripping everything back. Matt Rees knows this well — and "Hard Times" was came out of one of those seasons. The Michigan-based singer-songwriter has spent years writing music that builds up the church and glorifies God, and this song carries that same honest, unpolished faith. What makes it remarkable is the posture Rees takes. Rather than crying out from the pain, he's thanking God for it. "I thank You for the hard times // when You test what's in the depths of my heart." "Vine" by Oludee: Fruitfulness Through Surrender

(by Jasper Tan) "Vine" by Oludee is a very beautiful, soulful song that talks about trust, surrender, and putting our Faith in God. What makes this song so beautiful is the musical choice that Oludee chose to produce with the given theme. It's easy listening and soulful, which can be a good song to listen to during our moments of devotion and personal worship with God. The opening lines of the song quickly establish the message that we can't just rely on ourselves in our day-to-day living, but it is important that we learn to recognize God in our lives. By putting our complete trust and faith in Him, we would be able to navigate life's challenges more easily, as we would be experiencing more stability.
