We have released a new episode of our Christian Music Discovery podcast, where we predict tomorrow's Christian Hits and share newly released musical gems by lesser-known artists.

During each episode, we try to predict tomorrow's Christian Hits and share newly released musical gems by lesser-known artists (artists that have not (yet) experienced a major breakthrough). 

For our predictions, we look at Christian music released last Friday and talk about how these songs developed in the first 36 hours since their release. We highlight songs that we believe will be the high performers during the coming week. A week later, we release the Top 25 chart of Christian songs released in the past week (200 hours) and look back at our previous predictions. During these episodes, we also feature songs by (less known) artists that we believe deserve more "love".

"Thank God I’m Saved" by Chad Chaney: A Joyful Anthem for Life’s Valleys

Is the valley you’re in really permanent? Chad Chaney spent years as an actor in Hollywood, building his own kingdom. Then God called him to build a different one. In a quiet moment, one line landed: “Even when I’m in the valley, I won’t stay for long.” He wrote an entire song around it, “Thank God I’m Saved”. You may know that valley. Loneliness. Worry about next year. A voice that whispers that you’re worthless. Chad names those feelings in his lyrics: “Even when I’m feeling broken, You will make me whole.” He never pretends the valley isn’t real. He just refuses to unpack his bags there. "I Will Rejoice" by Maria Segerholm: Thankful for the Sunshine and the Rain

Joy is a choice you can make today. “I Will Rejoice” by Maria Segerholm is a song of joy and praise, and her message is that joy is a choice despite the challenges we face. Maria has been called a happy person since she was a little girl. The unexpected happened, the trials came. Seasons arrived when her joy faded, and she says the enemy worked hard to steal her joy. Does that sound familiar? Those seasons didn’t last. Over the past few years, God has taught Maria what it means to rejoice in Him at all times, and this song, “I Will Rejoice”, grew from that lesson. Listen to how she sings it. Clouds try to block her light, yet she won’t stay down. Pain tries to break her praise, so she sings His Name. Fear shakes her soul, and she gives thanks “cause I know You’re good.” Notice the words that Maria uses: Clouds, pain, fear, and noise… They all “try,” but none of them win.
