We have released a new episode of our Christian Music Discovery podcast, where we predict tomorrow's Christian Hits and share newly released musical gems by lesser-known artists.

During each episode, we try to predict tomorrow's Christian Hits and share newly released musical gems by lesser-known artists (artists that have not (yet) experienced a major breakthrough). 

For our predictions, we look at Christian music released last Friday and talk about how these songs developed in the first 36 hours since their release. We highlight songs that we believe will be the high performers during the coming week. A week later, we release the Top 25 chart of Christian songs released in the past week (200 hours) and look back at our previous predictions. During these episodes, we also feature songs by (less known) artists that we believe deserve more "love".

"Hard Times" by Matt Rees: Finding Faithful Ground When Life Comes Apart

Hard times have a way of stripping everything back. Matt Rees knows this well — and "Hard Times" was came out of one of those seasons. The Michigan-based singer-songwriter has spent years writing music that builds up the church and glorifies God, and this song carries that same honest, unpolished faith. What makes it remarkable is the posture Rees takes. Rather than crying out from the pain, he's thanking God for it. "I thank You for the hard times // when You test what's in the depths of my heart." "Psalm 10 (Do You See)" by Red Letter Society: Honest Faith, Bold Trust, and the Hope of God's Reign

Injustice is hard to sit with. When evil goes unchecked, and the vulnerable are overlooked, even the most faithful hearts may be wrestling with silence from heaven.
