While they’ve been singing professionally for quite a while, they shot to internet fame after videos of them singing The Prayer & Time To Say Goodbye went viral in 2020, leading to them being mistaken for the son & granddaughter of Andrea Boccelli.

Adrian is a classically trained singer & songwriter, who started his musical career singing as a treble in the church choir before going on to study drama at The University of the Witwatersrand and voice with renowned vocal coach, Sarie Lamprecht. He has also appeared in a number of professional musical theatre productions, TV commercials and TV shows. Adrian release a solo album, A Moment Of Your Time, in 2011 which included the track, Kerry’s Song, which Adrian wrote with his brother Ashley for the occasion of his wedding (to Kerry) in 2006.

12-year-old Emma-Jean, is a talented singer, ballerina & actress and has appeared in a number of TV commercials and reality TV shows. Emma has always loved music, and even as a baby would hum or sing along to any music she heard. The Galliard family first noticed Emma’s singing talent when she sang a solo in church at the age of 7.

Adrian & Emma-Jean started singing together at various church and charity functions in 2018, when Emma was 9 years old. Together with their friend, Annette Shawe, they were invited to sing at a Cuppa for CANSA event. Emma-Jean stole the show with her rendition of I See the Light and her participation in the classic Time To Say Goodbye, which Annette had arranged for all three of them to sing. Emma-Jean was hooked on music, and the duo started arranging regular soirees in our garden for friends and family.

After South Africa was placed into lockdown, Emma-Jean and Adrian decided to record a version of The Prayer to send to the family and friends they would not be able to see on Easter Sunday. They uploaded The Prayer to Facebook just before lunch and by the end of the day it had 17 000 views. A few days later it was picked up by UK website, The Music Man and it quickly climbed to 6 million views and Adrian & Emma-Jean Music was born.

The duo continue to entertain fans across South Africa & the world with live and virtual concerts comprising of well-known classical and pop music covers and are working towards releasing an album towards the end of 2021. The duo will also be appearing in a South African Reality TV Talent Show in September 2021 on SABC2

The song 'Follow Your Heart' was written by an American composer, Brenda Lane who contacted Adrian and Emma-Jean via their Facebook Page to share this song. Brenda has written over a thousand songs for award-winning international recording artists. Adrian & Emma-Jean are honored to perform this lovely piece of gospel music for you.

We hope you enjoy it.

Here are the lyrics:

When I Follow My Heart ©2008 Brenda M Lane, ASCAP Publishing Company: Lane and Associated Enterprises Publishing (ASCAP)

When I trust, If I trust, I’ll see Your hand
Guiding me, perfectly into Your purpose
I will believe in Your Word

Promises that You give, Anchor my heart
When I trust, Yes, I’ll trust, I’m in Your keeping
Teach me to follow my heart to Your heart

Chorus:
When I follow my heart, When I follow my dreams
When I look to the sky, I am stirred to believe
That Your infinite plan, Holds a journey for me
When I follow my heart, When I follow my dreams
I can soar on Your wings

Wandering and wondering Where I should be
Answers to questions so far from me
But there in the nearness of what makes me, me
was the vision I’d need (Chorus)

Bridge:
Something inside me pulled at my heart
Never before have I felt so alive
Oh and all my convictions were right from the start
When I followed my heart

When I trust, If I trust, I’ll see Your hand
Guiding me, perfectly into Your purpose
Teach me to follow my heart, to Your heart!

When I follow my heart, When I follow my dreams
When I look to the sky, I am stirred to believe
That Your infinite plan, Holds a journey for me
When I follow my heart, When I follow my dreams
I can soar on Your wings
When I follow my heart, When I follow my dreams
I can soar on Your wings.

"Man I Used To Be" by Dax: Half the Weight, Double the Faith

"Man I Used To Be" by Dax is a very personal song. Dax had promised himself that he wouldn't release new music until he'd stayed sober for six months, the time he needed to get his priorities straight and clear his mind. "Man I Used To Be" is the sound of his first clean breath, life with God by his side. Dax lays it bare: "Trials and tribulations, all my past trauma," he acknowledges, along with "generational curses from daddy and mama," and the "addictions that clouded my eyes." The honesty about his past struggles makes the message of this song so relatable and powerful.  The chorus is about the moment that the script was flipped, "I'm half the man I used to be." Not a broken man, but a man who has been freed from the burdens that weren't his to carry and kept him from God. "I don't ever chase, I got God," declaring that his new identity is anchored in faith. It's a shrug and a testimo...

"The List Goes On (Jordan's Song)" by Chris Sarver: Finding Freedom in Faith

Have you ever felt the weight of the past (old chains) even after you're free? Chris Sarver's "The List Goes On (Jordan's Song)" addresses this specific struggle. Chris shared the following: "Like many of you, I have been part of text thread groups whose main purpose is for encouragement and prayer. … About four years ago, in one of those men's groups, my friend from church, Jordan Hanks, shared a message you can see in the picture. It was simple. He wrote about how sometimes we feel the old weight we carried before Jesus lifted it. And when that weight tries to creep back in, he reminds himself of the names Jesus has earned in his life. He is a Healer." In other words, when shame whispers lies, we must speak truth louder. The lyrics confess, "The chains are gone, sometimes I still find that I can feel their weight." Instead of hiding this feeling, Chris Sarver turns it into a moment of worship. He calls out names that Jesus has earned in...

"Praise You In The Morning" by Taylor Pride: Waking up to the sound of Worship

(by Jasper Tan) Taylor Pride's latest single, "Praise You In The Morning" is an uplifting song that is a powerful reminder of God's faithfulness in different seasons and circumstances. The song is an acknowledgement that even if we are facing hardships and difficulties, we should still continue to praise God, for he is our provider and protector. And that he has promised to redeem us in his perfect time. The song follows an established style of Taylor's "heart-on-your-sleeve" type of worship song, drawing inspiration for this song's music from the likes of Cody Carnes and Phil Wickham's songs, the likes of which are simple with an easy-to-sing chorus layered by joyful sounds. The lyrics serve as a prayer for those in the "desert seasons," suggesting that praise is a choice made even in times of uncertainty with our faith. The song uses the transition from night to day as a metaphor for moving from weeping to hope. It is a modern worship...
