Anna Golden, Worship Together - Doubt - Cafe Session (CCM)

Anna Golden, Worship Together - Doubt - Cafe Session
Anna Golden, Worship Together has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Doubt - Cafe Session.

Anna shared during an interview: "This song started when I was in Nashville for Tasha Cobb Leonard's live recording of "Royalty". We had a whole week of rehearsals. Something I love about Tasha is that she always talks about 'practicing the presence of God'. We had these breakout moments and she was talking about things that were going on in her life, and she was like "but I just know the Lord". I just kept hearing these words "You can't make me doubt what I know". This is the grounding of every situation that we seem to run into, and even in this like day and age, especially in my generation, we look for everyone else to tell us the answer. I often face these things and I'm like "you know you just can't make me doubt what I know! I've talked to Him, I've walked with Him, I just know who the Lord is so. We're past the point of you making me believe anything else."

I would love a song that was just this reminder that you can't make me doubt Him. I'm talking to a situation, I'm talking to a mountain, I'm talking to this storm that I might be in. If I look back on my life, I can see the goodness of God time and time again. Everything, he's done it before and He will do it again.

I feel that the Spirit is moving in so many ways, but this whole idea of faith and obviously coming off of a year like 2020, you know we can look back now, coming out of that and say 'you know that God was faithful'. The whole time you know it was hard. A lot of things happened, there were losses but when was God not present? When was He ever not faithful?
That's what I love about this song! We're coming out of that as churches are starting to meet again and we're singing together again to be able to proclaim that in light of everything. This is just a reminder that it's so much easier to sing this after something happened, but not necessarily just as easy while you're in the middle of it."

LYRICS:

Verse 1
If He's done it before,  He'll do it again
A miracle  is not a one time thing
So mountain,  you won't win
He is God  and you're no match for Him

Pre-Chorus
I've seen Him do the impossible
So every giant, you have to fall

Chorus
You can't make me doubt Him
Would've never made it this far without Him
You can't make me doubt Him
Would've never made it this far without Him
He has never let me down
There's no room left for doubt
I know Him way too well

Verse 2
 Promises,  yes and amen
I?m standing on  every word He says
So wind and waves, you must be still
He?s never lost, no,  and He never will

Chorus
You can't make me doubt Him
Would've never made it this far without Him
You can't make me doubt Him
Would've never made it this far without Him
You can't make me doubt Him
Would've never made it this far without Him
You can't make me doubt Him
Would've never made it this far without Him
He has never let me down
There's no room left for doubt

Bridge
And I am standing here by the grace of God
And I'm a living witness of perfect love
And I am standing here by the grace of God
And I'm a living witness

Vamp
You can't make me doubt Him
You can't make me doubt Him
You can't make me doubt Him
Would've never made it this far without Him
You can't make me doubt Him
Would've never made it this far without Him

Chorus
You can't make me doubt Him
Would've never made it this far without Him
You can't make me doubt Him
Would've never made it this far without Him
You can't make me doubt Him
Would've never made it this far without Him
You can' make me doubt Him
Would've never made it this far without Him
He has never let me down
He has never let me down
There's no room left for doubt  I know Him way too well

'Lonely Dirt Road' by Dax: A Journey to Solitude and God

Dax's 'Lonely Dirt Road' is a conversation that Dax has with himself and God. Dax shares his journey of turning mental health walks into healing solitary drives. As you listen, you can almost feel the cruise, where it's just you, your thoughts, and God.  The chorus is so relatable: 'When I need space, that's where I go, a place to escape that nobody knows.' What do you do when life's pressures stack high? Do you also have a space where you can let go? That lonely dirt road that Dax sings about symbolizes solitude, but it is also an incredible opportunity for connecting with God.  Dax's honesty is raw and relatable. 'I didn't want my family to see me cry… dealing with the pressure of trying to provide.' There are times when we all put on a smile to hide how challenging situations may be. Like his father, Dax says that he finds peace on this lonely road, where challenges become opportunities to grow. This shows the core of our faith: that...

Riley Clemmons - Stuck Inside My Head - Single Mix (CCM)

Riley Clemmons has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Stuck Inside My Head - Single Mix. The song 'Inside My Head' was born out of a season of pain and healing. As a result, the song has a way of speaking about life's difficulties that is accessible and relatable to everyone.  "As I was writing and dreaming up this record, "says Riley, "there was never a plan to create anything but honest music, born from hurting, growing, and healing. I collected songs for this body of work much like I collected every experience I found myself in the middle of over the past couple of years... the highs & lows, the conversations with God, the questions about my identity, the heartbreak, and the healing." Although the music addresses life's hurts, it does much more than that. The trials of life, according to Clemmons, are ordained by God so we can draw close to him. "The thread that began to connect them all quickly became the idea tha...

Rhett Walker - Man on the Middle Cross (CCM)

Rhett Walker's CCM song, 'Man on the Middle Cross,' is a powerful reflection on the profound impact of God's grace and mercy. The song was inspired by a sermon by Alistair Begg, focusing on the two men crucified alongside Jesus, and the transformative power of Christ's sacrifice. The lyrics vividly describe the scene of three wooden crosses on a hill, with two sinners on either side of Jesus. The first verse expresses the realization that, at times, we all can relate to the sinners on the crosses—feeling guilty, regretful, and undeserving of God's love and forgiveness. The chorus beautifully captures the experience of both sinners, acknowledging that one has been on the left, filled with guilt and regret, while the other has been on the right, always seeking conflict and thinking forgiveness is beyond reach. The overwhelming theme throughout the song is the recognition of God's grace and mercy, which are not earned or deserved but freely given to all. The br...
