3tone Music Group Raises $50M From Carlton James Group

3tone Music Group announced a new USD $50 million investment from Carlton James Group, an existing backer of the UK-based music business.

3tone, which bills itself as a "talent-focused music and media company," is best known for its indie distribution and artist/label services.

Why is this news so intriguing that we decided to publish it on Christiandance.eu?

3tone provides unlimited digital distribution to multiple streaming platforms for independent artists for a single annual fee, making it a serious competitor to TuneCore and DistroKid. The service includes the following:

Release unlimited tracks; Release unlimited artists; Keep 100% of your royalties.

AND they also have an interesting option to collect Performance and Mechanical royalties.

We believe that this service will encourage more Christian artists, who are currently limiting their releases to YouTube, Bandcamp, and Soundcloud, to take a leap of faith and release their music to digital streaming platforms.

'Lonely Dirt Road' by Dax: A Journey to Solitude and God

Dax's 'Lonely Dirt Road' is a conversation that Dax has with himself and God. Dax shares his journey of turning mental health walks into healing solitary drives. As you listen, you can almost feel the cruise, where it's just you, your thoughts, and God.  The chorus is so relatable: 'When I need space, that's where I go, a place to escape that nobody knows.' What do you do when life's pressures stack high? Do you also have a space where you can let go? That lonely dirt road that Dax sings about symbolizes solitude, but it is also an incredible opportunity for connecting with God.  Dax's honesty is raw and relatable. Doyin Teru's live rendition of "More Than a Conqueror" is a powerful gospel song that declares God's unshakable love and provision. The song was recorded in Vienna with the J423 Community. Inspired by passages in Romans 8, reminding us that nothing—neither life, death, nor any power—can separate us from God's love. "Nothing will take Your Presence from my life" and "No one shall separate me from Your love" are  examples from the lyrics that are both a confession and also a celebration of the victory we all may experience through Christ. The inspiration for this song came to Bolaji Teru on December 10, 2022, when he woke up with a melody in his heart: "Nothing will take Your presence from my life; no one shall separate me from Your love." . A few months later, he was inspired to write the verse, drawing entirely from the Scriptures. The first verse is based on Romans 8:38, and the second verse comes from Romans 8:32, passages that emph...
