'Garden Hope' by Kristi Hepp - A Healing Melody Echoing Divine Promises

The title track of Kristi Hepp's newest album, 'In Between the Gardens,' is called 'Garden Hope.' It guides the wandering hearts and keeps them rooted in God's promises. It sings out to those who have grown weary on their earthly pilgrimage, offering an empathetic shoulder and a gentle reminder of our heavenly home.

Kristi Hepp - Garden HopeThe song echoes the yearning we all experience in our lives: being in the 'in between,' a place of longing. We are often 'tangled in this sorrow,' but 'Garden Hope' makes us feel better by mixing the bitter and the sweet and telling us that our pain will end.

Kristi's lyrics are full of strong emotions: where the rough current of sadness is mixed with the gentle stream of hope. The refrain, 'This world is not my home,' is a strong reminder that sparks hope and breaks through our sadness.

This promise keeps coming back to us: 'You will wipe every tear from our eyes / And death will be no more, death will be no more' These beautiful words carry a taste of the divine. They give us comfort by reminding us that even in our darkest hours, even when we feel devastated, we are not forgotten or abandoned.

'Garden Hope' is more than just a song; it's Kristi's hand reaching out to us, guiding us to heavenly comfort. The song encourages us to trust the journey, pay close attention, and let the music show us that there is light beyond what we can see. That is the invitation of 'Garden Hope'. Listen, accept the invitation, put your faith in God, and your tears will be wiped away.

"The Perfect Man" by Kaylyn Sahs: Finding the Only One Who Never Fails

(by Jasper Tan) “The Perfect Man” is a very beautiful love song by Kaylyn Sahs. I’ve never heard such a beautiful love song written for Jesus that is very relatable, and that truly defines how it is to be loved. Jesus is the only perfect Man who can fulfill our hearts and complete us. His Love is the only kind of Love that we all should desire to have. A lot of the people out there who are still searching to find love and find the perfect partner that they could spend their life with should listen to this song. The song helps to define the type of person they should be looking for and not settle for anything less, because we truly deserve someone who could love them that is as pure as Jesus.  Kaylyn shares that this song is her personal testimony of finding a love that never fails or walks away. And like most people out there who are still in the process of finding love, Kaylyn has also been there, patiently waiting for the perfect partner to come into her life and complete her, on...

"Man I Used To Be" by Dax: Half the Weight, Double the Faith

"Man I Used To Be" by Dax is a very personal song. Dax had promised himself that he wouldn't release new music until he'd stayed sober for six months, the time he needed to get his priorities straight and clear his mind. "Man I Used To Be" is the sound of his first clean breath, life with God by his side. Dax lays it bare: "Trials and tribulations, all my past trauma," he acknowledges, along with "generational curses from daddy and mama," and the "addictions that clouded my eyes." The honesty about his past struggles makes the message of this song so relatable and powerful.  The chorus is about the moment that the script was flipped, "I'm half the man I used to be." Not a broken man, but a man who has been freed from the burdens that weren't his to carry and kept him from God. "I don't ever chase, I got God," declaring that his new identity is anchored in faith. It's a shrug and a testimo...

"Sometime" by Robert Peterson and The Crusade: God always finds us

(by Jasper Tan) In the tradition of our favorite CCM rock anthems from the 90's and early 2000's (the Jars of Clay and Vertical Horizon come to mind), Robert Peterson and The Crusade's recently released single, called "Sometime," is a joyful experience to listen to. This is a rock song that speaks about waiting and being prepared for the right moment to be called by Jesus. It comes from a place where the miracle and the sudden arrival of God in our lives are always unpredictable. But when we are ready, God will find us. The lyricism of the song is written in such a way that there are double meanings and vague messages. I understand the artistic decision to write this in such a manner. I always believe that evangelism isn't always straightforward, and there is definitely not a one-size-fits-all approach. Sometimes people who have yet to encounter Jesus in their lives may feel resistance and apathy towards the truth of Jesus' love for us, but are open to mes...
