'Winner' by Romana Grace: Your Anthem in the Climb from Despair to Victory

Getting into the heart of Romana Grace's song 'Winner' is like finding an oasis in the middle of life's desert. Romana, whose family comes from the lively cultures of the Netherlands and Surinam in South America, writes a song with a positive message for anybody who has felt defeated or hopeless.

Romana Grace - WinnerYou could say that 'Winner' is our story as well as Romana's. This is for all of us who have faced those days when the dim light of dawn seemed to be our only friend in a cycle of setbacks. Romana wrote the song during a period of heartache and feeling depressed. A time of questioning 'why' believers so often have to deal with these dark shadows. 'Winner' is a beautiful example of how surrendering to God's strength can change darkness into light, and a daunting challenge into glorious victory.

Romana's urban and upbeat gospel sound reminds us that victory doesn't mean we don't have to fight; it means that we have our Savior on our side. Through honest confessions and a passionate chorus, Romana spreads a message of unwavering faith and confidence.

Let 'Winner' also remind you that you are stronger than you think, because you have built your faith and dependancy on our invincible God. You are destined to win, rise, and conquer. Let's walk in that truth, together, as winners.

Secrets Artists Should Learn About The Spotify Algorithm

Spotify's competitive edge is the amount of data it holds on listeners and the way it uses that data to increase engagement. ... Using the same underlying data and technology can provide unique insights to record labels and artists about who's listening to what and help them reach more listeners. The Spotify algorithm sets itself apart from other digital music streaming services. The algorithm is an AI system known as BaRT (an abbreviation of Ba ndits for R ecommendations as T reatments). Basically, BaRT’s job is to keep listeners listening. It does this by playing and suggesting songs it knows the user is familiar with, while dropping in some fresh tracks it thinks they might like, but most importantly, haven’t heard before. This makes sure the listener is engaged, but things never get boring. BaRT decides what to suggest to listeners by combining two concepts – Explore and Exploit. This combination is the key to the platform’s recommendation system. Exploit uses the listene...

Fighting With My Demons' by Joe Nester is a powerful Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) song that confronts a universal and challenging issue — the battle with inner demons. Nestled within the soothing melody and catchy rhythm are impactful lyrics conveying despair, struggle, and ultimate redemption. As we heed the voice of Nester, immersed in sincerity and conviction, the lyrics resonate, 'So fill me with your fire. Until I feel it burning bright and all the darkness turns to light.' It is a plaintive cry for God's sanctifying fire — His divine intervention to ov...

Josephine Grace - Higher Than the Heavens (CCM)

Josephine Grace has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Higher Than the Heavens. Josephine shared her story behind this song:  Some songs come quickly, some come slowly. This one was definitely the latter! It was way back in 2011 when I made a home demo of the first version of this song - it was moodier with completely different chords, melody and lyrics - and then it sat on the shelf (or more literally, on an external hard drive full of archived files) until the back end of last year. I’ve done some studying online with Hillsong College this past year and a half and at some point I’d explored what being wholehearted towards God means. Bits of the old song (it was called ‘I Will’ at that point), written quite directly from Psalm 108, started coming back to me beginning with Psalm 108:1 (NIV) “My heart, O God, is steadfast”.  I followed the melody in my mind to the chorus based on Psalm 108:4 (NIV) “For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your fa...
