That's like saying, 'God, the doctors have all given up on me, but I'm asking You to cure me from stage 4 cancer, and this scripture says that You will give me that cure!' I believe this passage is an open invitation to seek help and guidance through prayer, with faith that we will be heard and will receive answers… His answers! It is about asking instead of demanding, and seeking to hear and understand what it is that He wants. It is never about our own glory or benefit.

The song 'Jesus Name' is a call to action, an encouragement to let everything you do bring glory to Jesus. It's about asking with humility, seeking with intent, and knocking with a childlike trust that God's door is always open.
