'Crimson Love' by JML Worship: Faith in the Face of Doubt

JML Worship's 'Crimson Love,' is a reminder that Jesus' love redeems us, and it doesn't matter what we have done in the past. True faith isn't about avoiding challenges. We need challenges to purify our heart, help us to grow stronger, and keep our focus on Jesus.

JML Worship - Crimson LoveAs I listen, I am reminded of the inner peace I feel because I know that Jesus' love is always there, ready for me when I am willing to open the door of my heart to let it in. No matter how dark or depressed life may seem, especially when I don't see a way out, Jesus' blood has already paid the final cost for my (and your) salvation. He is there to light up my path forward.

Seeking refuge in Christ is so attractive: 'Where do I go when I have sinned and darkness falls? You are my hope, save me when all seems lost…'

The chorus, 'Crimson love, rising up from the ashes, your love is blossoming red,' speaks of the rebirth and renewal we receive through His love. What an excellent image of the hope that rises out of hopelessness when He is on your side!

Go ahead and give 'Crimson Love' a listen. May the words and music motivate you to open your heart and experience firsthand the change that His love will bring into your life.

'Fighting With My Demons' by Joe Nester: Encapsulating the Resilient Battle of Faith

Fighting With My Demons' by Joe Nester is a powerful Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) song that confronts a universal and challenging issue — the battle with inner demons. Nestled within the soothing melody and catchy rhythm are impactful lyrics conveying despair, struggle, and ultimate redemption. As the song begins, 'All my life, I’ve been battling with my demons,' listeners are instantly embraced with understanding, compassion, and know they are not alone in their struggles. The profound lyrics echo the pain of life's battles and the weariness they create, yet they’re also filled with hope. We are reminded that even while we are lost and conflicted, God's presence becomes our refuge. As we heed the voice of Nester, immersed in sincerity and conviction, the lyrics resonate, 'So fill me with your fire. Until I feel it burning bright and all the darkness turns to light.' It is a plaintive cry for God's sanctifying fire — His divine intervention to ov...

How To Build A Larger Audience/Fanbase For Your Christian Music - Part 1

Are you a Christian music artist? Do you want to build a larger audience for your music? In this 5 part series, we will explain our music marketing strategy for exponentially expanding your fanbase. Today, in part 1, we focus on the foundation needed to build a larger audience/fanbase, where to focus, and your place in a bigger picture. Next week, in part 2, we will focus on your online hub, ways to attract more visitors to your online hub, and being more than a musician.   Why do some Christian artists have millions of monthly streams on the streaming platforms, while other great artists struggle to get more than a few thousand monthly streams? Many Christian Artists struggle to reach new listeners. Marketing music was never easy, but quite a few artists (and even agents/distributors) are not using all of the possibilities that are already available. What saddens me is that many Christian artists only scratch the surface of their music marketing possibilities. DIY-platforms, such...

Josephine Grace - Higher Than the Heavens (CCM)

Josephine Grace has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Higher Than the Heavens. Josephine shared her story behind this song:  Some songs come quickly, some come slowly. This one was definitely the latter! It was way back in 2011 when I made a home demo of the first version of this song - it was moodier with completely different chords, melody and lyrics - and then it sat on the shelf (or more literally, on an external hard drive full of archived files) until the back end of last year. I’ve done some studying online with Hillsong College this past year and a half and at some point I’d explored what being wholehearted towards God means. Bits of the old song (it was called ‘I Will’ at that point), written quite directly from Psalm 108, started coming back to me beginning with Psalm 108:1 (NIV) “My heart, O God, is steadfast”.  I followed the melody in my mind to the chorus based on Psalm 108:4 (NIV) “For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your fa...
