'Glorious King Jesus - Special Version' by The Praise Project: Celebrate His Glory

This is a Special Version of 'Glorious King Jesus' by The Praise Project. What makes this song so special is that it was performed by teenagers in their music collective - young hearts that passionately radiate with truth and reverence for our Lord Jesus.

The Praise Project - Glorious King Jesus - Special VersionFor those who don't know the song, it declares, 'King Jesus, You are glorious, great in all Your ways, matchless in Your name.' A profound reminder of His magnificence! These teenagers passionately draw you into worship and lift His name high.

The first verse focusses on our Savior. 'Shining in purity, chose to be blames, mighty over darkness, kind to sin's slaves.' Reflecting on Christ's humble sacrifice and His ultimate victory over sin. His love for us is so great, that, despite His own purity, He chose to pay the price for our sins, offering us kindness and redemption.

The second verse reminds us of His earthly mission, 'Came down from heaven, present always, comforted the hurting, offering His embrace.' Jesus did not only come to save; He also came to comfort, heal, and restore. His love is always there, ready to embrace us in times of need.

The third verse expands our praises to the Lord: 'Treasured, adored, forever to be praised, loved by Your people, for all their days.' Jesus is not only our Savior but our eternal treasure, cherished and adored for all eternity.

Don't miss out on this rendition of 'Glorious King Jesus'. It is truly a special version, as you listen to the passion of the younger generation that is willing to spread His glorious message by touching hearts and strengthening faith.

"The Perfect Man" by Kaylyn Sahs: Finding the Only One Who Never Fails

(by Jasper Tan) “The Perfect Man” is a very beautiful love song by Kaylyn Sahs. I’ve never heard such a beautiful love song written for Jesus that is very relatable, and that truly defines how it is to be loved. Jesus is the only perfect Man who can fulfill our hearts and complete us. His Love is the only kind of Love that we all should desire to have. A lot of the people out there who are still searching to find love and find the perfect partner that they could spend their life with should listen to this song. The song helps to define the type of person they should be looking for and not settle for anything less, because we truly deserve someone who could love them that is as pure as Jesus.  Kaylyn shares that this song is her personal testimony of finding a love that never fails or walks away. And like most people out there who are still in the process of finding love, Kaylyn has also been there, patiently waiting for the perfect partner to come into her life and complete her, on...

"Man I Used To Be" by Dax: Half the Weight, Double the Faith

"Man I Used To Be" by Dax is a very personal song. Dax had promised himself that he wouldn't release new music until he'd stayed sober for six months, the time he needed to get his priorities straight and clear his mind. "Man I Used To Be" is the sound of his first clean breath, life with God by his side. Dax lays it bare: "Trials and tribulations, all my past trauma," he acknowledges, along with "generational curses from daddy and mama," and the "addictions that clouded my eyes." The honesty about his past struggles makes the message of this song so relatable and powerful.  The chorus is about the moment that the script was flipped, "I'm half the man I used to be." Not a broken man, but a man who has been freed from the burdens that weren't his to carry and kept him from God. "I don't ever chase, I got God," declaring that his new identity is anchored in faith. It's a shrug and a testimo...

"Sometime" by Robert Peterson and The Crusade: God always finds us

(by Jasper Tan) In the tradition of our favorite CCM rock anthems from the 90's and early 2000's (the Jars of Clay and Vertical Horizon come to mind), Robert Peterson and The Crusade's recently released single, called "Sometime," is a joyful experience to listen to. This is a rock song that speaks about waiting and being prepared for the right moment to be called by Jesus. It comes from a place where the miracle and the sudden arrival of God in our lives are always unpredictable. But when we are ready, God will find us. The lyricism of the song is written in such a way that there are double meanings and vague messages. I understand the artistic decision to write this in such a manner. I always believe that evangelism isn't always straightforward, and there is definitely not a one-size-fits-all approach. Sometimes people who have yet to encounter Jesus in their lives may feel resistance and apathy towards the truth of Jesus' love for us, but are open to mes...
