'Intentional Worship' by Samona: An Invitation to Deep Worship

Samona's latest single, 'Intentional Worship,' is one of those songs that almost instantly touches your heart and leads you into praise. From the very start, you'll be captured by her powerful voice , and the whole production (music, vocals, & messaging) will give you goosebumps. Samona sings about pouring out your heart and love in intentional worship and praise, setting your gaze on God, and focusing on His love and all He’s done for us.

Samona - Intentional WorshipIt felt like an angelic choir was singing around me when I closed my eyes to listen (and it's just because I have a good audio setup). I love the melody and harmonies and Samona's warm voice lead me into worship. The lyrics remind us that when God's love fills us, nothing else matters. God is there, eager to cover us with His love and guide our ways... if you let Him in. Samona continues: 'I never would've made it this far without your love,' it's almost like you can feel God holding your hand as you're going through tough times.

Don't just take my word for it, listen for yourself. Samona's 'Intentional Worship' is a great addition to your worship playlist. May you say yes to this beautiful invitation to worship deeply, and may you feel God's boundless love as He guides you.

"I Love to Praise Your Name" by Chrystal: Worship That Survives the Storm

A declaration of consistent devotion and faithfulness to God (by Jasper Tan) Chrystal Williams-Alberty’s “I Love to Praise Your Name” is a beautiful and heartfelt contemporary praise and worship song. The song focuses on our devotion and adoration to our God. The lyrics are simple but deep in expression. Reminding us that to worship God is a lifelong commitment, and we should always give our gratitude and faithfulness to our loving God. The song shares a message that is similar to Psalm 34:1 —  “I will bless the LORD at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Chrystal came up with the song from her own personal experiences where she wants to praise God even in her most difficult times. This shows us that praising God isn’t just when things are going our way, but even in the most trying times; our devotion and faithfulness to him must remain constant. This is what makes this song beautiful because it came from a place of sincerity and raw honesty. Chrystal shows her unw...

"Great Is Thy Faithfulness" by Gethsemane Instrumental: Finding Steady Ground in the Storm

God’s mercies are new every morning — do you notice? “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” by Gethsemane Instrumental is one of the tracks in John Long’s upcoming instrumental project. Gethsemane Instrumental is a space for prayer, a quiet room where listeners can sit with Jesus without distraction. Hardships visited John more than once. He also went through Ministry seasons that tested him in ways that could have hollowed him out. But something kept pulling John back to the same conviction: “He is faithful.” Not faithful when convenient. Not faithful in the easy seasons only. Faithful “through every storm,” standing “unmoved and unwavering” while everything around him shifted. “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” is the first single off John’s upcoming Hymns Devotional Vol. 2 project. This song has been a staple song for him throughout his entire walk with Jesus.  That kind of steadiness isn’t new. Thomas Chisholm penned the original song in 1923, sitting in Baldwin City, Kansas, worn down by frai...

"No One Like You Jesus" by Morgan Starner: Why Only Jesus Can Carry Your Burdens

Who really deserves your loudest praise? “No One Like You Jesus” by Morgan Starner didn’t start in a studio. It started as a voice memo, hummed late at night, half-formed and unfinished. Morgan took that fragile melody into the studio and built it up, layer by layer, until it held over 100 stacked vocals. The result sounds like a celebration. Bright, rhythmic, and impossible to sit still while listening. That’s the point of this song… Gospel-pop with a modern pulse, made to move bodies and hearts at the same time.  Listen to the bridge, and you’ll hear a question underneath the beat: “Who else gonna take my burdens? Who else gonna get me through?” Morgan answers the question without hesitation. “No one else but You.”   Scripture asks the same question, thousands of years earlier. Here is how Moses responded after crossing the Red Sea: “Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders?” (Exodus 15:11, ESV...
