'One Divine' by Conor Stone - Turning Despair into Heavenly Assurance

Conor Stone released a song called: 'One Divine'. It is a song filled with hope, with lyrics that pull you from the edge of despair and point you to the warmth you will find in God's ever-present love. Conor's message comes from personal experience, having tumbled down two flights of stairs, waking up expecting the worst, only to find that God's hand kept him safe. Conor didn't understand how he managed to come out of this with just a few bruises. A nurse commented: 'God was looking out for you.' He joked, 'Why was God looking after an atheist tonight?' Connor's rude awakening came when the nurse replied: 'Because he has a purpose for you. Listen to him.'

Conor Stone - One DivineIn 'One Divine,' Conor takes Psalm 91 and uses it to share his story of survival and faith. The lyrics, 'You called to me in the darkness… You are my fortress on the hill,' is his lifeline. Conor brings an encouraging message of God's protection and the light of God that continues to shine, no matter how bad things are in our lives.

This song is for everyone, but it's particularly suitable for people who feel lost, alone, without purpose, or who just need a reminder that God's love never ends. Conor's story and the lyrics of 'One Divine' reassure you that you're never truly alone. He sings, 'You are the seek and you shall find, the one divine,' a gentle reminder that in your search for meaning and comfort, the best direction to go is to turn to God.

So, give 'One Divine' a listen. May this message touch your heart, point to you God, and encourage you to invite Him into your life.

Avery Stafford's "Manna (Come on Down)": A Reminder of God's Faithfulness

Avery Stafford's "Manna (Come on Down)" is a beautiful reminder that God never forgets us. The song was inspired by Avery's own journey of faith. He remembers how excited he felt as a 7-year-old standing in front of a church in San Jose, CA, when he said "yes" to Jesus. Avery has that same fire and excitement for God's constant presence and provision today.  The song's title is a nod to a youth rally called Mannafest, emphasizing that God continues to provide for us amidst life's challenges, just as He provided manna in the wilderness. God reigns, even though hopelessness, loneliness, and disappointments constantly plague our world. The acts and consequences of people's choices can distract our focus from God. It is through lyrics like "Remind me, Lord, just why I need You living in my dreams" and "Spirit, come on down," that Avery calls us to remember God's unending faithfulness and reignite our initial love and de...
