Doxology is an instumental track found on the album 'The Hymnal' by Life In Grooveland.  This is a modern rendition using various instruments, including an electric guitar, of the well known hymn Doxolgy. Listening to this track actually gave me a bit of a chuckle as I was trying to picture the congregation of our church singing the traditional lyrics along with this track… as in the lyrics from 1674, together with this instrumental track. Chelsea Nogas's song 'Covered' is what I call a blessing wrapped in melody, and addresses a trap that feels all to familiar. The trap of thinking that I don't deserve a blessing I've received or that I need to earn God's love through my actions. 'Covered' is based on Matthew 11:28. Chelsea wrote it as a reminder that rest and freedom are gifts from Jesus, ones we find at the cross, not as a result of what we do. Gifts based on grace, His grace.  The lyrics, 'Lord, I need Your rest… At the cross, I lay my head,' is an invitation to lay down what your trying to 'earn', your striving, and remember that His grace and love have already covered everything. His grace is enough! We're His, adopted through His blood.
