'Consecrated ' by Cindy Clark: A Prayer for True Healing

'Consecrated' Cindy Clark is a relatable song, especially if you've faced the dark nights of despair or walked along rocky paths that are filled with personal struggles, such as depression and loss. Cindy's songs are born out of her struggles with depression, chronic pain, addiction, and devastating losses, and even more important, the lyrics point to the healing power that we all may find in singing God's word.

Cindy Clark - ConsecratedWith 'Consecrated,' Cindy points us to a place of healing and growing our relationship with God. A relationship where we long for more intimacy and more time in His presence.

Cindy starts each verse with a plea, to be set apart. 'Set me apart to sing your praise I lift up my hands to worship // Open up my ears to hear your voice so I can follow you // I wanna see your beauty // I want to enter in.' Can you already see yourself praising Him and having an intimate conversation with our Savior?

This is the yearning that Cindy is sharing, a yearning for something so pure that it cancels out all of the noise, and to 'buy salve for my eyes and robes of white' as Cindy sings. It's a genuine desire to live a life for His glory. The great thing about it is that everyone can do this, including you and me! We need to first let God into our hearts, ask Him to change the way we think and how we perceive things, and ask Him to help us remember that we're not alone on this journey… because He is by our side.

Listen to the message found in 'Consecrated' and allow it to fill your heart with its truth. Cindy encourages you to step closer to God's all-consuming fire, a fire that brings you the deliverance, hope, and consecration that you desire.

"Not Far From Us" by Divine Vibes: Stop Searching. Start Reaching.

The search can end right now. The Apostle Paul stood in Athens surrounded by altars and idols — a city full of people reaching toward something they couldn’t name. Among all their shrines, Paul spotted one inscription: “To an unknown God.” That moment became the opening of one of the most powerful declarations in Scripture. The people were already searching. They just didn’t know who they were searching for. “Not Far From Us” is a collaboration between Divine Vibes and House of Purpose. The track takes that same scene and sets it to Afro House and cinematic electronic music. Created directly from Acts 17, the lyrics move like Paul’s speech itself — from observation to revelation. “I found an altar to an unknown God // This God whom you worship without knowing // This is the one I’m telling you about.” Divine Vibes doesn’t just retell the story… he pulls you right into it. What Paul told the Athenians next also applies to each of us today: “Yet he is actually not far from each one of ...

"Chasing Nothing" by Louis Loock: When Grace Starts Chasing You

Success fades. Approval fades. What actually lasts? Picture yourself walking home. A normal walk home, nothing dramatic. Just sidewalks, tomorrow’s to-do list, and thinking about what you own and the career/life you have. That’s where “Chasing Nothing” by Louis Loock starts. He continues to reflect: “Emptiness surrounds me, for no reason that I see, // People walkin’ past, time goes by so fast.”   It’s fascinating to experience how everyday moments like these trigger deeper reflections. For Louis, these reflections led to a change, not because he found more stuff or more approval, but because he found less of himself and more of God. “Then You came into my life, You opened up my eyes,” he writes. “I was chasing nothing, I was running mad.” That choice of words matters. He wasn’t chasing something that turned out disappointing — he was chasing something that turned out to be empty. An illusion. A finish line that keeps moving further away. Does this sound familiar?  Scripture...

"Psalm 112 (I'm Confident)" by Young Presley: No Fear in Bad News

What is your house built on?  We all face bad news at some point or other in life. It could be a diagnosis, a layoff, a broken relationship — the question isn’t whether hard news will come, but how you’ll respond when it happens. Young Presley wrestled with that question while he was writing his song “Psalm 112 (I’m Confident)”. The song is part of a Psalms series, coming from a simple vision: turn scripture into music that people will actually listen to. These songs are not intended as a substitute for reading the Bible, but an invitation to further read and explore the Bible. The chorus captures the key message of Psalm 112: “I do not fear bad news, I’m confident, trust in the Lord who cares to be my confidence.” That’s not the denial of bad news. It’s a decision to place your confidence and trust in God.  Look at what David wrote centuries ago in Psalm 112:7–8: “He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord. His heart is steady; he will not be afrai...
