'Jesus You Are My Way' by D28 Band: Echoing the Names of God in Praise

As the title of the song suggests, 'Jesus You Are My Way,' D28 Band's newest song is a song of praise. It's about trusting and surrendering, and calling on God for strength. This song is the seventh single that will appear on their upcoming album, 'Jesus Set Me Free'.

D28 Band - Jesus You Are My WayThe backstory for this song is as sincere as it gets. 'Jesus You Are My Way' is actually a prayer that JJ Smith would be praying, calling on the names of God. One day, he said 'Lord, I want to sing a song of your names,' and 'Jesus You Are My Way was born'. It's such a blessing to be able to sing, 'Whenever I fall, You're there to lift me,' with the fullest conviction that He is always by our side, no matter how often we fall!

As I listen, I can picture myself standing there with open arms, ready to be wrapped His love, and accept Him to guide my life. The chorus is a celebration of His character - 'You're El Shaddai, Jehova Jireh, You're Adonai.' Names that specifically remind us of God's unending provision and strength.

Don't just take my word for it. Go ahead and press play! May 'Jesus You Are My Way' also become your prayer and help you to focus on His way throughout your day. No matter whatever challenge you face, or decision you need to make, you're never walking alone… Jesus You Are My Way!

'The Fall' by Josh Wright: Embracing Healing Through Pain

Josh Wright's new song, 'The Fall,' is about the dark and heavy moments that often come with loss, grief, and sin. Most of us have been there, feeling a deep sense of guilt and shame. But that is not where God wants us to linger! Yes, it's important to understand the consequences of our actions, but there is also a next chapter. God wants us to 'get up' and 'keep going.'  Josh beautifully sings about this next chapter in 'The Fall.' With lyrics like, 'I didn't want the valley, I didn't want the dark,' you can feel the pain and reluctance that Josh experienced. He continues, 'Nobody wants to stumble or ever hit the ground. Nobody wants to have to hurt for healing to be found.'   Josh emphasizes that although we're not looking for pain, it does play an important part in understanding God's love. If there is no contrast, e.g., no pain, then how will we be able to appreciate God's love and plan for us? This is how

'Lonely Dirt Road' by Dax: A Journey to Solitude and God

Dax's 'Lonely Dirt Road' is a conversation that Dax has with himself and God. Dax shares his journey of turning mental health walks into healing solitary drives. As you listen, you can almost feel the cruise, where it's just you, your thoughts, and God.  The chorus is so relatable: 'When I need space, that's where I go, a place to escape that nobody knows.' What do you do when life's pressures stack high? Do you also have a space where you can let go? That lonely dirt road that Dax sings about symbolizes solitude, but it is also an incredible opportunity for connecting with God.  Dax's honesty is raw and relatable. 'I didn't want my family to see me cry… dealing with the pressure of trying to provide.' There are times when we all put on a smile to hide how challenging situations may be. Like his father, Dax says that he finds peace on this lonely road, where challenges become opportunities to grow. This shows the core of our faith: that
