"Free Indeed" by Jay Davids is a beautiful worship song that was inspired by the story of King David dancing in front of the Lord, regardless that some felt this was inappropriate. This song is also quite personal when you consider Jay's own journey, a journey marked with deep loss and eventual healing & restoration.
The lyrics remind us of God's faithful rescue and the transformation from blindness to sight, urging us to celebrate our freedom in Christ. As we sing "hallelujah," we express the joy of salvation and the undignified yet sincere ways we may express our gratitude. It's also a call to embrace and praise God's liberating love.
