Darrell Vaughn's 'Heaven My Home': Looking Forward to Our Real Home


Darrell Vaughn's new single, "Heaven My Home," is a heartfelt song that was inspired by health battles and the loss of loved ones. Darrell shares how these experiences made heaven more real to him and changed his look on life and eternity.

Darrell describes what could be in paradise, such as rolling meadows, clear rivers, and endless blue skies. Imagery that may even come very close to reflecting the peace and safety we will experience on that day when we may return home. The chorus powerfully declares: "Heaven my home, it's where I belong // I'm pure and whole by the savior's grace // His glory shines, it lights me up inside // Praise the Lord, On my knees, on my face". Yes, we may belong and be purified through His grace, and His promise of light and glory that fills us with joy and praise. 

"Heaven My Home" is an uplifting song about facing life's challenges with the hope of heavenly joy. May this song encourage you to focus on the incredible future God has prepared for you, a future where we all will worship together in perfect unity and fulfillment.

"Holy Spirit" by Tamika Tyan: When God's Presence Takes Over

The Holy Spirit is more alive than you think. Tamika Tyan wrote “Holy Spirit” during the COVID-19 lockdown — not from a place of peace, but from panic. "Clothed With Dignity" by Grace Frances: Trading Shame for a New Identity

Your worth was never up for negotiation.  Grace Frances wrote “Clothed With Dignity” from a place most of us recognize (in some form or other) but will rarely admit out loud. She carried old regrets like a second skin, calling herself names that her past mistakes didn’t deserve. “I demonize the girl I was, when she was just trying to survive,” she sings, and that line hurts. Haven’t we all judged ourselves for choices that we made while simply trying to get through the day?
