"It Is You." by HOMECOMING: Rediscovering the One Who Truly Satisfies


HOMECOMING's new song, "It Is You.", started during a spontaneous moment of worship and reflects the band's desire to create music that recalibrates hearts back to what truly matters—Jesus. Today's world seems to be obsessed with chasing success and validation, and this song pulls us back into a bigger reality… the reality that nothing compares to God's presence.

HOMECOMING - it is youThe lyrics wrestle with doubt, wandering faith, and feeling distant from God, and come back full circle to the core of our faith—that He alone satisfies. Lines like "Why does my faith start to wander?" and "Even when I am left faithless, Your love is steadfast" show the contrast we face between our human frailty and God's faithfulness. The chorus boldly declares: "It is You… You're all I've ever wanted, You're everything I need." 

This song transitions from an intimate prayer to a powerful proclamation (or a powerful wish…), combining synths and layered vocals to trigger both personal reflection and encourage you to join others in worship. May "It Is You." be your trigger to stop chasing all of the worldly honors and achievements and look for your true purpose and fulfillment in Christ.

"In Awe of You" by True Vine: Let the Heavens Teach You to Worship

When did you last stop and remember who God is? Life moves fast, doesn’t it? Bills pile up, seasons shift, and our attention drifts toward whatever crisis is loudest that day. True Vine wrote “In Awe of You” to interrupt that drift. The song pulls our eyes off our circumstances and points them back to God Himself — not what He’s done for us lately, but who He simply is. Drawing from the names Scripture gives Him — Elohim, Adonai, El Shaddai, the Great I Am — the lyrics declare, “Who compares to You?” That’s not a rhetorical flourish. It’s an honest question worth sitting with. Think about the weight in a name like El Shaddai, God Almighty, or Adonai, Lord and Master. These aren’t titles pulled from nowhere. Each of His names is a testimony. Testimonies by people who have witnessed how He provided, protected, and stayed faithful when nothing else proved to be steady. "Set Free" by Kristin Ambuhl: Naming Your Real Enemy

What battle are you really fighting today?   Some enemies wear a smile. Kristin Ambuhl calls this out in her song “Set Free”. The song calls these enemies a “favorite shadow” who’s “throwin’ words like daggers” while “hiding behind your laughter.” This is much more than a person who is being difficult. Kristin wrote this song about the daily spiritual battles we face as believers — battles found in arrogant people, dark influences, and forces that work to pull us away from who God made us to be. Whether it’s small fights or big ones, she’s naming them all.  The song doesn’t stay stuck in the shadows. Kristin declares, “I’ve been set apart, I’ve been set free, from my enemies, against dark powers, rulers, and authorities.” Part of that line echoes Ephesians 6:12: “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” W...
