"The Peace of God" by Divine Vibes: Where Scripture Meets CEDM Vibes


"The Peace of God" by Divine Vibes is a refreshing blend of scripture and deep, melodic CEDM beats. The lyrics for this track are from Philippians 4:6–7, and it reminds us that rest and quietness are rare in today's society. Think through your past day, week, and month. What percentage of it would you categorize as restful and calm? Unfortunately, these concepts of restful and calm feel as if they are getting more and more out of reach. But it is in the peace of God that we find these critical, life-giving gifts. The words "rest" and "quietness" are at the root of the word "peace" in Philippians 4:6–7.

Divine Vibes - The Peace of God"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." It's a powerful declaration that God's peace-"which transcends all understanding"-is always there, guarding our hearts and minds.

The NLT translation of this passage makes the message even clearer: "Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."

Quiet, rest, and the peace of God are not fanciful wishes, nor are they unrealistic for the world we live in today. That is the key message that Divine Vibes is sharing, a formula for a life dramatically influenced by His peace. God is patient with our wandering, drawing us back to Himself, and He remains, continues, and dwells with us. As He does, He guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

"King, Lamb, Lion" by Ben Jero & Graham Guy: When the World Runs Dry

What happens when the world just isn’t enough?  In early 2025, Graham Guy was reading Revelation chapter 4. The picture of heaven gathered around the throne — declaring God holy and worthy of praise — planted the seed for this song. "If Jesus Danced" by Cameron Pruitt: Making Room for Laughter in Your Walk with God

Does your faith leave room for laughter? Can you imagine Jesus kicking off His sandals, dancing to a rhythm only He can hear? Strange thought?
