"Come What May" by Colonial Heights Worship: Following with Full Hearts

"Come What May" by Colonial Heights Worship is a beautiful song that asks how we can truly express the goodness and grace of God, no matter the circumstances. Are we able to always remember His faithfulness and respond with lives of worship? Colonial Heights Worship shares that it's not just about singing praises, but, more importantly, living a life of devotion. Colonial Heights Worship shares that they wanted to create something that calls us to follow Him wholeheartedly — through storms, trials, and even seasons of blessing — because He has been faithful to us in providing, protecting, and leading.

Colonial Heights Worship - Come What MayThe lyrics capture this beautifully. "How could I sing / All the ways You're faithful to me." Words fall short to even begin to describe what His love and provision bring. His goodness goes beyond anything that our words can express. "You are always, faithful / In everything… I will follow You, I will follow You / Come what may," a declaration of trust in His leadership through every twist and turn, and hopefully an encouragement for you to do the same.

"Every moment, every trial / I won't be shaken / I know the One who holds it all" a promise to stand firm because He's not only paved the way, but He is there with us with each step we take. May this song be like an anchor in tough times, one that holds you strong and reminds you that His presence is enough, no matter what comes your way. Place your burden at His feet and follow His lead, come what may.

'Lonely Dirt Road' by Dax: A Journey to Solitude and God

Dax's 'Lonely Dirt Road' is a conversation that Dax has with himself and God. Dax shares his journey of turning mental health walks into healing solitary drives. As you listen, you can almost feel the cruise, where it's just you, your thoughts, and God.  The chorus is so relatable: 'When I need space, that's where I go, a place to escape that nobody knows.' What do you do when life's pressures stack high? Do you also have a space where you can let go? That lonely dirt road that Dax sings about symbolizes solitude, but it is also an incredible opportunity for connecting with God.  Dax's honesty is raw and relatable. 'I didn't want my family to see me cry… dealing with the pressure of trying to provide.' There are times when we all put on a smile to hide how challenging situations may be. Like his father, Dax says that he finds peace on this lonely road, where challenges become opportunities to grow. This shows the core of our faith: that...

Riley Clemmons - Stuck Inside My Head - Single Mix (CCM)

Riley Clemmons has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Stuck Inside My Head - Single Mix. The song 'Inside My Head' was born out of a season of pain and healing. As a result, the song has a way of speaking about life's difficulties that is accessible and relatable to everyone.  "As I was writing and dreaming up this record, "says Riley, "there was never a plan to create anything but honest music, born from hurting, growing, and healing. I collected songs for this body of work much like I collected every experience I found myself in the middle of over the past couple of years... the highs & lows, the conversations with God, the questions about my identity, the heartbreak, and the healing." Although the music addresses life's hurts, it does much more than that. The trials of life, according to Clemmons, are ordained by God so we can draw close to him. "The thread that began to connect them all quickly became the idea tha...

"Follow Jesus" by S.D.G.: Unity Through One Teacher

"Follow Jesus" by S.D.G. (Soli.Deo.Gloria) is a song that started in a miraculous way. S.D.G. shared that 95% of the song lyrics, melody, and harmony came to mind completely unexpectedly in 1–2 days. He compares it to lightning, lightly, seemingly without his effort, as if somebody else from High sent it all to him and said, "do it"!  A song sparked by the realization that many people just say, "Has not been born on earth yet… // Man who can wisely teach me life." But look at Jesus! He's already here, sowing love and offering wisdom that is way beyond human understanding.  The song challenges us to reflect on our feelings of pride and self-reliance: "When I do say - I'm always right… Am I not blind?" It invites us to exchange our arrogance for humility and reminds us that Christ already lives among us and guides us with His grace. "Jesus - He lives in our midst, // He's the best teacher that the earth has ever known!"   Th...
