"My Defence" by New Wine Worship is a heartfelt battle cry. The song declares that no matter what life throws at us, Jesus is consistent and worthy of praise. Red Letter Society releases a powerful song called "I Claim". It's lyrics hit straight to the heart, and urge us to embrace our struggles, how stange that may sound, but it is through these struggles that our relationship with Christ continues to grow. The song is a call to the modern church to not shy away from pain but to see it the same way that Christ did - a route to "true life", a life that He made possible for us with His ultimate sacrifice. Following a life-changing experience with dialysis and a kidney transplant in 2018, Lauren found a lot of peace and strength by listening to "Lepers."
